Q: What is The Dream Bag made of?
A: The Dream Bag as a 100% cotton lining and a poly/cotton (65% / 35%) outer. The 1.0 tog and 2.5 tog Dream Bags have a plush polyester filling.
Q: What does the Tog rating mean?
A:
The Tog rating describes the “thermal resistance” of a fabric. Tog ratings are widely used in the UK and Europe to describe warmth levels of quilts, blankets and sleeping bags.
The higher the Tog rating, the greater the level of warmth the sleeping bag will provide for your baby. The Dream Bag comes in 2.5 tog, 1.0 tog and 0.5 tog. Tog values need to conform to British Standard BS4745:1990.
For more information see the Togs & Safety page.
Q: Why does The Dream Bag have arm holes (sleeveless).
A: This reduces the risk of your baby overheating. You can then dress your baby accordingly, depending on nursery temperature. Sids and Kids recommend using a baby sleeping bag with arm holes.
